SPLWhat is Little Legends?

Every child deserves to move with confidence

Little Legends is a turnkey, full-year physical literacy curriculum designed specifically for early childhood centres and preschools.

Built by exercise scientists and strength & conditioning specialists, it equips your existing teaching staff with structured, easy-to-run movement sessions that build physical confidence, motor control and athletic literacy — without requiring external coaches.

The challenge

Preschoolers need structured physical activity for fundamental movement development, but teachers often lack specialised sport-science lesson plans.

The solution

A comprehensive, sport-science-backed curriculum for ages 3–6 with plug-and-play session plans, mapped out week by week.

SPLWhy it matters

Physical development is academic readiness

Fundamental motor skills directly correlate with cognitive growth, focus, classroom posture and fine motor skills like handwriting and pencil grip.

Core strength→ Trunk stability & classroom posture
Balance & agility→ Body awareness & calmer energy
Proprioception→ Focus & cognitive growth
Fine motor→ Handwriting & pencil grip
Free play only

Great for social play, but it doesn't systematically teach foundational movement skills like throwing, catching, striking and locomotion.

With Little Legends

A structured 40-week curriculum helps children hit specific long-term athletic development (LTAD) benchmarks instead of random play.

SPLWhat children learn

8 building blocks of a Little Legend

Each skill gets its own focused 4-week block. Together they give children the movement foundation for primary school PE, school sport and lifelong activity.
